Jones Howler Women's Snowboard 26/27

Jones Women's Howler Snowboard 26/27 is a premium snowboard developed for aggressive freeriding, backcountry freestyle and riders looking for high levels of precision, stability and power. Designed with Elena Hight and Victor de Le Rue, the Howler combines high-performance freeride capabilities with a dynamic freestyle character, making it ideal for technical terrain, big airs, powerful carving and variable mountain conditions.

The Directional shape features a longer nose, shorter tail and setback stance to improve float in deep snow, maneuverability and edge control. Its subtle 8 mm taper maintains strong directional performance while preserving a balanced and dynamic feel on groomed terrain.

The High Power Camber profile features full-length camber with an extended flat zone underneath the rear inserts. This construction increases power through the tail, delivering explosive pop and locked-in edge control when driving out of turns or stomping landings on steep terrain.

The 8/10 mid-stiff flex provides a precise and powerful board feel. It is primarily designed for intermediate, advanced and expert riders looking for stability at speed and fast energy transmission to the edges.

Medium Traction Tech uses three additional contact points along each edge, positioned near the front binding, center of the board and rear binding. The center point is slightly more pronounced to improve grip and control on firm snow.

The Medium 3D Contour Base features 4 mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 0-4 mm in the tail. Inspired by surfboard contours, this construction reduces edge drag, makes turn initiation smoother and improves both glide and float.

The Power Core is an advanced triple-density full wood core made from responsibly sourced Bamboo, Paulownia and Poplar. Centered Bamboo stringers increase durability, pop and torsional stiffness, while Paulownia keeps the board lightweight and helps dampen vibrations.

Koroyd technology, developed from aerospace-inspired engineering, reduces vibration and swing weight in the tips, allowing quicker and smoother changes of direction.

Triax Fiberglass uses a triple-layer, multi-axis laminate construction to deliver a precise and powerful board feel with mid-stiff torsional flex and excellent response in variable snow conditions.

ampliTex Carbon / Flax Stringers combine carbon with naturally sourced flax fiber to enhance response, energy transfer and overall performance.

The Premium Eco Topsheet is made from castor bean-based bioplastic and offers excellent resistance to scratches, abrasion and impacts while reducing environmental impact.

The Sintered 8000 Base is a premium sintered base that is exceptionally fast, highly wax absorbent, durable and easy to repair. The board comes factory waxed with WEND Natural Wax.

Bio Resin is an epoxy containing 27% plant-based carbon and reduces CO2 emissions by approximately 33% compared to conventional petroleum-based epoxy.

The board features recycled German steel edges for maximum strength and long-term durability, while the rounded Recycled ABS sidewalls help minimize topsheet chipping and impact damage.

Forever Flex stabilizes the snowboard's flex and profile throughout its lifespan. Each board is overbuilt and then mechanically broken in using a process that simulates approximately 20 days of riding, creating a more consistent flex from the first day.

Factory Tuned means the tip and tail are factory de-tuned so the snowboard is ready to ride straight out of the shop.
