K2 Afterblack Men's Snowboard 26/27

K2 Afterblack Men's Snowboard is a high-performance freestyle model developed for intermediate, advanced and expert riders seeking a balance of manoeuvrability, stability and precise response. The true twin construction, medium flex and Combination Camber profile make the board a versatile choice for the park, rails, jumps and slopes.
The new generation of K2 Afterblack retains the popular elements of the previous model but introduces an evolved construction developed together with K2 team riders. The tip shapes, sidecut radius, transition zones and camber profile have been optimised following testing both on the slopes and in urban environments.

The Twin Combination Camber profile uses camber between the bindings and rocker towards the extremities. This configuration offers a playful, manoeuvrable character while retaining the stability needed at speed, edge control and precision when approaching obstacles or jumps.
The True Twin shape is completely symmetrical and allows the board to be used in both directions, making it suitable for tricks, switch riding and freestyle. The centered stance complements the board's balanced character and provides natural control regardless of direction of travel.
The BAP Core combines three types of wood: bamboo, Aspen and Paulownia. This construction offers strength, rebound and quick response while helping reduce vibrations generated by the terrain or heavy landings.
Triax Fiberglass uses three layers of fibers oriented at 45°, 45° and 0°. The result is increased torsional stiffness, better stability and precise edge grip, retaining the board's responsive character both longitudinally and torsionally.
Carbon DarkWeb™ technology uses carbon stringers positioned at 45° angles to the inserts in an X-shaped configuration. This structure improves board response, stability and control at different speeds and is particularly useful for jumps, landings and quick direction changes.
The Hybritech™ construction removes unnecessary sidewall material at the tip and tail and uses a 3D capped edge. This reduces weight at the board's ends while strengthening the bond between the fiberglass and board structure for durability and maneuverability.
The Sintered 4000 base is made for speed and high durability. The sintered material allows deep wax absorption, helping maintain fast, consistent glide when the base is properly maintained. The Stone Finish completes the performance-oriented construction.
The K2 Afterblack has a medium flex, with a character combining a playful feel with precision and stability. It is designed for freestyle and park riding, but also performs very well on the slopes, at speed or on side hits.
