K2 Excavator Snowboard 26/27

K2 Excavator Snowboard is a unisex freeride board designed for riders seeking high performance on the slopes, in powder and on varied terrain. The wide construction, Directional shape and Tapered Directional geometry with Volume Shift™ allow a length approximately 4-10 cm shorter than a traditional board while maintaining stability, flotation and control. The additional width and 20 mm taper reduce the risk of toe drag in deep turns and provide an excellent experience even for riders with larger boots.

The Directional Camber profile offers precision and stability at speed, as well as a powerful response in turns. The K2 Excavator combines a playful character with the support needed by intermediate, advanced and expert riders, optimised for freeride, powder and groomers.
The S1 Core is made of Bamboo, Aspen and Paulownia for an effective balance of strength, low weight, vibration damping and quick response. Bamboo stringers running from tip to tail contribute to durability and pop, while Paulownia reduces weight and inertia during manoeuvres. Aspen and Bamboo areas positioned at a 30° angle underfoot improve energy transfer and edge-to-edge response.
ICG™ 10 Glass With Carbon uses fiberglass together with carbon inserts to increase the board's pop, dynamism and lifespan without adding unnecessary stiffness. Carbon Power Fork™ technology uses a pre-cambered carbon insert in the tail for more energy entering and exiting turns and additional pop on takeoffs and landings.

The Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 base is made from a very hard, fast sintered material, designed to retain wax for a longer period and provide fast, consistent glide. The Stone Finish complements the performance of the base for intensive use on snow.
The Hybritech™ construction removes unnecessary sidewall material at the tip and tail, reducing the board's weight and inertia. The 3D capped edges contribute to a stronger bond with the fiberglass, resulting in a lightweight, durable construction.
The Snophobic™ topsheet helps reduce snow accumulation on the board's surface, while the standard 2 X 4 insert system allows compatible bindings to be mounted. Combining the Directional shape, Volume Shift™ technology, S1 core and carbon components, K2 Excavator provides float in powder, precision on the slopes and energetic response in turns.
