Under Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014, consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product, without having to justify their decision and without incurring any costs other than those provided for by law.

Before the withdrawal period expires, the consumer may return the product within 14 calendar days, starting on the day on which they took physical possession of it.

1. Check the condition of the product – make sure it is complete and shows no signs of use.

2. Complete the return form available on the website.

3. Send the product to the address provided by our support team.

4. After the parcel is received, the product will be checked and the amount paid will be refunded in accordance with the law.

Refund of the Amount Paid

Under the legislation in force, SC OPENBOX CONSULTING SRL will refund the value of the returned product within a maximum of 14 days of receiving notification of withdrawal from the contract.

The refund is made after the returned product has been received or after proof of its dispatch has been received (if we do not collect the product directly).

Important terms

• The refund may be postponed until the return of the product is confirmed.

• The shipping cost for returned products is borne by the customer.

• The first exchange for orders worth more than 250 lei is free.

• For products purchased in the physical store, the purchase price is not refunded; they may only be exchanged if unused, for other products in the range of equal or higher value. If there is a price difference, it must be paid at the time of the exchange.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Under the legislation, the following categories do not qualify for the right of return:

• Services fully performed with the prior agreement of the customer.

• Personalised products or products made to the buyer’s specifications.

• Perishable products or products with a short shelf life.

• Sealed products that have been unsealed for hygiene reasons (e.g.: thermal clothing, sports underwear, personal care products).

• Products that are damaged or show signs of use.

• Products inseparably mixed with other items after delivery (e.g.: installed spare parts).

• Alcoholic beverages whose value depends on market fluctuations.

• Urgent repair or maintenance services where the customer has requested immediate intervention.

• Sealed audio/video products or software that have been unsealed after delivery.

• Periodical publications (e.g.: magazines, newspapers), except subscriptions.

• Digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, for which supply has begun with the consumer’s express consent.
