JONES SOLUTION W 2023 Splitboard - The ultimate all-terrain splitboard! Ideal for backcountry freeriding and exploring the wildest areas of the mountain!

The Jones Solution is a splitboard that is versatile on any type of terrain and offers unmatched performance in any snow conditions. With a directional freeride shape, a directional hybrid rocker-camber profile and a stiffer flex, the Solution is playful in powder while providing confidence and stability at high speed on frozen snow.

The inner and outer edges feature Traction Tech 2.0 technology, with thinner inner edges for lower weight and extra locking when the splitboard is used for descending. The Traction 2.0 inner edges, together with the Karakoram clips, lock the board together and eliminate movement between the two halves of the splitboard during torsion.

Jones Solution comes with a new shape, and its construction uses new materials. With a tapered shape narrowing toward the tail for better float in powder and quick turning, and 3D Contour Base 3.0 for epic float in powder.

The board's core is made from FSC Control Core, a technical veneer, including the topsheet, with basalt strips in the inner layer that help transfer energy from the binding to the board's edges, so the snowboard responds very quickly during torsion and when returning to the snow

Basalt Power Stringers, the edges are made from recycled materials, the base graphics are printed with water-based inks, and lamination uses Super Sap Bio resin, a plant-based epoxy resin instead of conventional petroleum-based epoxy resin.

TECHNOLOGIES

3D Contour Base 3.0 the edges are slightly raised compared with the middle of the board, reducing contact with the snow. This shape results in less friction with the contact surface, improving speed and float. It features a balanced 7mm spoon bevel at the nose and tail.

BOLT-LESS BRIDGE
The two splitboard components are joined by fastening clips that are no longer bolted through the board's base but instead support one another. The wood core beneath the clips is thicker, ensuring better torsional stiffness and a stronger connection than the previous clip attachment system.

ULTRA CLIPS
Karakoram Ultra clips are the strongest clips currently used for splitboards. They provide unmatched compression between the splitboard halves and are adjustable, allowing you to maintain even compression as you use the splitboard over a long period.

DIRECTIONAL ROCKER
A hybrid rocker/camber with camber between the bindings and rocker toward the ends improves maneuverability and float at the board's nose, while the camber between the bindings adjusts edge pressure control. The rocker used in the tail construction maintains power and stability to prevent the tail from sliding out or catching while riding switch or landing switch. The camber gives the board pop, while the rocker shape helps with turns and powder.

Traction Tech the snowboard's edges are like a bread knife with an uneven cutting surface. This shape gives the edge contact with the snow over a larger area. The benefit of this edge is surgically precise turns.
Sintered 9900: the base is built from high-density polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and carbon. Easy to maintain, fast-gliding and durable.

Wend Natural Wax the Jones snowboard comes waxed straight from the factory with WEND natural wax.

Control split core built from high-quality woods of different densities, specially designed for splitboards. A 2:1 ratio of paulownia wood to poplar wood keeps weight low and increases the board's strength.

Triax fibreglass multi-axis fiberglass stiffens the board for a fast, precise response.

Quick tension tail clip Jones boards have two notches in the tail area for quick attachment of climbing skins

Karakoram ultra clip the clips that join the two halves are extremely strong, with a minimalist construction. They ensure a perfect union between the two splitboard components. The clips are adjustable.

Stainless Steel Reinforcement metal plates incorporated into the nose and tail for impact resistance.

Carbon Stringers carbon strips that help stiffen the board and add pop.

Bolt- Less Bridge the connection system between the two components uses no attachment bolts through the board's base, made possible by redesigning the profile around the attachments. The splitboard's core has been reinforced in the attachment area for maximum torsional resistance and a strong connection between the components.
