ARMADA TRACER 88 2022 Skis redefine the performance standards for a lightweight touring ski. Using Caruba Core and 1.7 Lightweight Edge, the Tracer 88 reduces weight, while EST All Mountain Rocker, AR 75 Sidewall and Ti Binding Reinforcement provide excellent downhill performance, regardless of conditions.
Technologies
AR75 Sidewall - vertical sidewalls along 75% of the ski's length for better contact with the snow, while cap construction is used in the tip/tail rocker areas to reduce weight and make turn initiation easier.
Caruba Core - a caruba wood core, the lightest in Armada's range, yet effective at absorbing vibrations
EST All Mountain Rocker - medium-length rocker in the tip and minimal rocker in the tail
Comp Series Base - UHMW polyethylene with carbon, contributing to speed and durability
1.7 Lightweight Edge - heat-treated edges ensure low weight and increased durability for touring
Ti Binding Reinforcement - titanium strips under the binding area act as vibration dampers to absorb shocks and improve stability
Adaptive Mesh - a fibreglass network structured at variable angles to optimize vibration absorption and allow torsional flex in the tip and tail rocker areas
