K2 MIPS VARSITY SKATE/BIKE/STREET black HELMET

K2 MIPS VARSITY SKATE/BIKE/STREET black HELMET- U.S. CPSC Certified for Skating, Skateboarding and Cycling- is designed for both children and adults and is equipped with the features needed for a safe and comfortable SKATE/BIKE session. These include:

• secure, easy-to-use fastening system
• ventilation system
• fit pads
• EPS lining
• a durable ABS shell

-MIPS-

• The system MIPS mimics the brain's protection system, introducing a low-friction layer into the helmet's construction, between the rigid outer structure and the lining, to absorb as much as possible of the energy created by an oblique blow to the head.

-Ventilation openings-

• The helmet is equipped with ventilation openings. The head often sweats during sports, so a supply of fresh air is essential. The vents allow good airflow, helping remove vapor from inside the helmet.

MIPS® PROTECTION:

MIPS® is a brain protection system integrated into select K2 helmet models that can offer increased protection in falls where the head experiences rotational forces from contacting the snow or other objects.
