Jones Equinox Women Deep Teal 25/26 Snowboard Bindings are made for all-mountain riders who want a stable, comfortable binding with adjustable medium-soft flex. The Equinox offers precise response thanks to SKATETECH technology, which transfers energy directly to the edge, and a Dynamic Flex highback that is stiff in the center for solid support and softer on the sides for friendly maneuverability.

SKATE TECH 

• The NOW Skate Tech system works on the skateboard principle and improves board control 

• Reduces foot fatigue by transferring energy directly from the binding to the board's edges through a dynamic design.

• Bushings are the binding's main contact point and offer customizable response and damping (Surf Mode and Freeride Mode).

 When making a powerful heelside or toeside turn, the force you apply to the straps and highback is transferred directly to the edge through the skatetech setup. By using this system's mechanical advantage, SkateTech bindings are the most responsive bindings in the world. 

2.  No comparison with traditional bindings
 Power is transmitted through the central disc.
When making a powerful heelside or toeside turn with traditional bindings, the pressure you apply to the straps goes into the fixed central disc and forces the binding baseplate to bend before power is transmitted to the edges. Energy is concentrated in the center of the traditional rigid baseplate, reducing potential turning power compared with SkateTech bindings.

BASEPLATE-

1. Comfort Foam foot pillow - Full-length EVA foam footbed that maximizes binding comfort while minimizing foot fatigue. 
2. NEW universal mounting disc - All Jones bindings include a mounting disc compatible with traditional 4x4 and 2x4 inserts and the EST/Channel mounting system.
3. This binding is equipped with Hard Bushings (Freeride Mode) for maximum board response.

STRAPS - 

1. Asym buckles -Bombproof buckles made from aircraft-grade alloy, with ultra-durable levers and springs. The triple-action ratchet design increases entry and release speed.
2. 3D Flex Fit 2.0 toe straps - The 3D Flex Fit 2.0 toe straps stretch dynamically to fit any boot shape. The new minimalist design is even lower-profile and just as comfortable, durable and responsive as the original design.
3. Comfort Flex ankle straps - Comfort Flex ankle straps are 3D-molded to distribute pressure evenly and eliminate strap bite, plus asymmetric for customizable response. Flip-It Strap compatible (Freeride mode + Surf mode).

1. Designed for precise, playful response. Symmetric mid-wide profile and medium flex for carving, tweaking airs and switch riding.
2. Asym highback with a small side wing for extra toeside turning power
3. Tool-free forward lean adjustment
4. Thinner, flexible side edges to eliminate edge bite.
5.The highback is stiffer in the center for solid turning performance.
