Faction Prodigy 2 Capsule Skis 2027 is an All Mountain Twin Tip model created for skiers who want complete freedom throughout the ski area, from groomed slopes to the park and soft snow. With a 98 mm waist width, this model offers an excellent balance of stability, flotation and agility, making it the ideal choice for modern freeskiing. Built around a Lightweight Poplar core, the ski combines low weight with a balanced flex and excellent pop, allowing easy execution of tricks, butters and controlled landings. The poplar wood structure also helps absorb vibrations, providing a pleasant, stable feel regardless of terrain. The Tip and Tail Rocker profile with Traditional Camber combines excellent edge grip with easy turn initiation and the flotation needed in soft snow. The Twin Tip shape allows skiing and landing in both directions, making it perfect for freestyle and park riding.
 

Carbon & Rubber Stomp Pad technology integrates a carbon and rubber insert beneath the bindings, reducing vibrations and impacts at high speeds or after hard landings. At the same time, this area reinforces the ski's structure and protects the wood core during intensive use. The XL 2.5 mm edges are thicker than the industry standard, providing superior durability for frequent park use, while Full Strength Sidewall construction maximises energy transmission and grip on hard snow. Mustache Flex, rated 7 out of 10, provides stability beneath the bindings and a progressive response in the tip and tail, facilitating turn initiation and absorption of uneven terrain. The Capsule Edition design for the 2026/2027 season is created by artist Elsa Grace, inspired by summer memories, citrus colours and botanical motifs, making this model a successful combination of performance and artistic expression.
