Nidecker Astral Women's Snowboard 26/27

Nidecker Astral 26/27 Women's Snowboard is a versatile and playful board designed specifically for women and smaller riders, based on the popular Nidecker Merc. The combination of its CamRock profile, Mid Soft flex and lightweight construction provides relaxed handling, confident control and plenty of energy for progressing across the whole mountain.

The CamRock profile combines traditional camber between the bindings with equal amounts of rocker at the nose and tail. By shortening the effective contact edge, the board feels more relaxed when initiating turns while maintaining reliable edge hold and making trick landings more forgiving.

The Mid Soft flex, rated 2 out of 5, gives the board a playful and relaxed character. It is easy to load into presses and butters while retaining enough stability for resort riding, park sessions and powder.

Premium Sandwich construction adds carbon stringers for increased pop, quicker edge response and improved shock absorption. Pop Carbon inlays are positioned between the inserts and the nose and tail, increasing ollie power while helping dampen chatter.

Triax Plus fiberglass is woven in three directions at 45-degree angles and uses different glass densities above and below the core. This construction delivers more consistent torsional flex, improved pop and fast edge-to-edge response.

The Master Core combines two species of wood, poplar and paulownia, providing an effective balance of low weight, strength and responsiveness. This helps the board remain easy to control while maintaining stability at higher speeds.

The Absorbnid topsheet is engineered to absorb unwanted vibrations, delivering a smoother ride and helping reduce fatigue during longer sessions.

The N-5000 Extruded base is highly durable, easy to maintain and remains fast even without regular waxing.

The 4x2/5 insert system features five rows of inserts positioned at 2 cm intervals and is compatible with standard snowboard bindings available on the market.

The Matte Finish gives the topsheet a tactile surface, while the layered Overprint artwork adds depth and texture to the graphic.
