K2 Passport Snowboard 26/27

K2 Passport Snowboard is a versatile, high-performance freeride board developed for intermediate, advanced and expert riders who want to explore groomed slopes, powder areas and big mountain terrain. The directional construction and Tapered Directional geometry offer stability, control and flotation while retaining enough versatility for switch and fakie riding.

The Directional Combination Camber profile combines the precision and response offered by camber with an elongated rocker zone towards the tip. This configuration helps the board float more easily in deep snow and allows natural turn initiation. The slightly wider-than-average waist and 8 mm taper further contribute to manoeuvrability and flotation.

The sidecut geometry was developed to offer controllable performance in different types of turns. Shorter radii at the tip and tail make turn initiation easier, while the longer radius between the bindings ensures a smooth, stable and predictable transition.

The A1 Core is made of three renewable wood species: Aspen, Bamboo and Paulownia. The Aspen-dominant construction provides elasticity and response, while Bamboo inserts positioned at 30 degrees underfoot improve strength, quick edge-to-edge transitions and pressure distribution along the edge. Paulownia is used in the tip and tail to reduce weight and inertia during manoeuvres.

ICG 10 Triax Glass with Carbon integrates carbon fiber stringers running along the board into the triaxial fiberglass structure. This combination increases energy, edge precision and board response without adding unnecessary stiffness.

The Hybritech construction removes unnecessary sidewall material at the tip and tail and uses a 3D capped edge to improve the structural bond with the fiberglass. The result is a lightweight, durable construction with reduced weight at the board's ends.

The Sintered 4000 base is fast, durable and able to absorb wax deep into the material, providing consistent glide and high durability. The Stone Finish complements the performance-focused construction.
