Rocker Type - Full Camber

 A traditional full camber profile that provides very good board response from edge to edge. The camber radius tapers into the 3D Contour Base at the tips, releasing the edges where they tend to catch and balancing the camber's pop and directional stability with a looser, less catchy feel.

SHAPE

1. 3D Contour Base 2.0 - Moderate 3D base contours featuring an even balance between a 4 mm bevel at the nose and a 4 mm bevel at the tail. The spoon bevel starts at the rocker point
2. Progressive sidecut - At the far ends of the sidecut, the radius progressively increases as the edge reaches the contact point. The gradual increase in sidecut radius toward the contact point provides smoother turn initiation and exit, because the edge enters and leaves the snow with a smoother, more flowing transition.
 Blunt Nose –  Blunt Nose - "How a board glides in powder, crust, corn or any snow more than an inch deep, is dictated by it’s front contact point and just past it. Next time you are in soft snow watch how much snow comes over the corner of the nose near the contact point. The billowing snow coming out from behind the tip means you are plowing through it which is obviously slowing you down. By adding a blunt nose you get the float benefits of a much longer nose without the ‘snow plow’ rounded tip and it’s extra swing weight". - Jeremy Jones


CORE

• FSC™ Classic Core - Premium full poplar wood core that offers fun pop, even flexibility and solid durability.
• V-Core - V-Core boards are slightly lighter right in the middle of the board for improved maneuverability and stiffer in the tip and tail for stability and pop.

Laminates

• Biax Fiberglass - A two-layer, two-direction fiberglass laminate that offers a forgiving, playful ride.

Base

• Sintered 8000 Base - New super-durable material made from very-high-molecular-weight polyethylene and carbon.

Topsheet

• Eco-Plastic Topsheet - Bioplastic topsheet produced from castor seeds. This ecological material is ultralight, scratch-resistant and prevents snow buildup. (Snow sticks less to the protective sheet).

Others

• Bio resin - All Jones boards are now built with renewable bio epoxies instead of petroleum-based epoxies. The raw materials used to make Super Sap Bio-Resin are co-products or waste products from other plant-based industrial processes. Producing Super Sap requires 33% fewer greenhouse gas emissions than conventional epoxy.
• Factory Tuned - All Jones snowboards are factory-tuned at the tip and tail so you can go straight from the shop to the mountain.
• Wend Natural Wax - All Jones boards come from the factory with a special WEND natural wax that makes the board glide smoothly downhill. This wax also releases gradually for a flowing ride.
