Key Features

• Kita has fewer stitched panels and a tough TPU shield called Armor-Tech, which keeps moisture out and protects the toes during descents on steeper sections or while freeriding.
• The Dual-Dial BOA® Fit system includes an External Heel Lock specially developed and controlled by the dial on the tongue, which keeps the foot firmly in place, while the lower part of the boot can be tightened using the side dial.
• The Transition Zone technology seamlessly connects the boot's outsole Kita with Exo Spine, accelerating response and preventing damage to the back of the boot when stepping into or out of bindings.

Tech Details

1. Dual-Dial BOA® / External Heel Lock
   The lower part of the boot tightens through the side dial, while the dial on the tongue controls the upper section and our unique heel-locking system, External Heel-Lock.

2. BOA® FIT SYSTEM - H4 Coiler
   Built for any challenge, BOA® H4 Coiler is impact-resistant, from park to powder. Its efficient mechanism quickly reduces lace slack, speeding up entry into the boots.

3. External Heel Lock
   Our External Heel Lock works together with the BOA® dial on the tongue, tightening the integrated wings on both sides of the ankle to eliminate heel lift.

4. Nidecker's top-of-the-line outsole features a full EVA midsole for supreme comfort across the entire foot and an OC-Kush insert for extra cushioning under the heel. The Vibram ICE-TREK tread is made from a rubber compound specially developed for cold surfaces and snow, offering unmatched grip.

5. LINER- Gold Level
   The Gold liner's asymmetrical construction wraps evenly over the foot, eliminating pressure points and improving flex control. The Custom Flex zone provides extra toe room, while 8 mm of PE foam and additional PU support on the outside ensure extra stiffness. Heat-molding technology provides a perfect fit in minutes.

6. LINER CLOSURE - Shell Harness
   Pull the inner laces to tighten the shell-mounted harness. The Velcro secures the tongue.

7. INSOLE - 3D Dual Density
   Anatomically constructed to support the foot, the insole is made from two densities of EVA, with firmer material for support in the heel and arch area. The fleece-lined surface and silicone print on top provide warmth and stability.
